The Prosecutor General's Office denied the statement made by the Tashkent mayor's office regarding the mayor's assistant.

Information has emerged online suggesting that an assistant to the hokim, who works in the Shaykhantahur district, allegedly took out loans in the names of 20 individuals and subsequently misappropriated the funds received. The Tashkent hokimat reported that "there is no official who fits this description."

“The individual referred to in the circulated information as M.F. resigned from his position in November of last year at his own request.”

The Prosecutor General's Office stated that M.F. served as the assistant to the hokim of the mahalla “Kamolon Darvoza” on issues related to entrepreneurship development, employment provision, and poverty reduction from October 7, 2022, until November 29, 2024. He was dismissed from his position by an appropriate decision of the district hokim on December 14, 2024.

“The criminal actions previously reported took place during his tenure as the assistant to the hokim.”
