This is related to changes in the order of the Minister of Energy, which establishes the maximum price for liquefied gas. On average, the price increase across the country was 20.2%.
Now, residents of Astana and Almaty have to pay 102 tenge per liter of gas, whereas previously the prices were 82 and 89 tenge.
In the Aktobe and Atyrau regions, the price has risen to 77 tenge, up from 59 tenge.
In the Akmolinsk and Almaty regions, gas is sold for 102 tenge, higher than the previous prices of 84 and 89 tenge.
In East Kazakhstan, Kostanay, Karaganda, Zhetysu, Ulytau, and Abai regions, the fuel price increased from 84 to 102 tenge.
In the Zhambyl region, the cost has risen to 90 tenge from the previous 78, while in the West Kazakhstan region, it has gone up to 77 tenge from 70.
In the Kyzylorda region, the price reached 90 tenge, up from 70 tenge.
In the Mangistau region, the price increased from 59 to 65 tenge.
In the Pavlodar region, automotive gas now costs 102 tenge, compared to the previous price of 81 tenge.
In the North Kazakhstan region, the price has risen from 89 to 102 tenge.
In Shymkent and the Turkestan region, fuel prices increased from 70 to 90 tenge.
