As part of the environmental initiative "Taza Kazakhstan," law enforcement officials have identified over 300,000 instances of environmental pollution and littering in public spaces.
Police representatives stated that some individuals and businesses are negligent regarding waste disposal regulations. For instance, in one district of the capital, a construction company left construction debris on adjacent property, resulting in an administrative penalty.
To prevent illegal dumping of liquid waste and littering, the police are actively collaborating with community representatives.
According to police reports, since April of last year, more than 400 drivers of trucks and vacuum trucks have been held accountable for such violations.
The authorities have urged people to be more conscious of the cleanliness of the environment.
The police emphasized that drones and surveillance cameras are actively used to identify such offenses.
