A new leader for the Uzbek diaspora has been elected in Moscow.
Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, the new head of the Uzbek National-Cultural Autonomy in Moscow is Soip Ruziboev, a native of Uzbekistan, as reported by a correspondent from Podrobno.uz.

Ruziboev has replaced Bakhram Ismailov in this position, who held the role since July 2022. Ismailov will remain on the board of trustees of the autonomy and will focus on projects of the Russian-Uzbek Military-Historical Society.
Soip Ruziboev is 55 years old and hails from Navoi. He graduated from the Novosibirsk Higher Military Command School of Internal Troops of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs. He has worked within the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and the penal system of the Komi Republic, and is a veteran of military operations in the North Caucasus.
He is married and has four children.
