— This year has been declared by the President as the Year of Working Professions. The main goal is to draw public and youth attention to working professions. Certainly, the issue of workforce shortages can't be solved in just one year, but the foundation has been laid. It is crucial to conduct extensive outreach about the advantages, labor market needs for working professions, and the value of labor in general. In this regard, such cultural caravan initiatives are beneficial. These measures are especially necessary for the youth, — said Honorary Citizen of the Zhetysu region Nauryz Kylshbaev.
It is worth noting that the cultural and educational project will last nearly a month, until February 21. The caravan will cover all districts and cities of the region. A conference and a journal dedicated to working individuals are planned as a follow-up to the initiative.
As the organizers point out, the main aim of the mobile cultural caravan "Eñbekpen Er Atanghan" is to popularize the achievements of workers, enhance their role in society, including through literary and artistic works, which is overall directed towards fostering patriotic education among the youth by instilling respect for labor, reviving and preserving labor traditions in the region, and familiarizing them with the history and modern opportunities of working professions.
