В реке Киши в Алматы ожидается повышение уровня воды, что может привести к подтоплениям.

Experts from Kazhydromet are warning about the rising water levels in the Kishi River in Almaty. The ice conditions on the river have worsened, resulting in an increase in water levels being recorded at the hydrogeological station.

A dangerous level is considered to be a rise up to 248 cm. On January 10, the level was recorded at 233 cm, with further increases anticipated. If the water rises above 248 cm, there is a risk of flooding roads, houses, and other structures located within the river’s floodplain.

Kazhydromet specialists urge the public to take precautions to prevent flooding.
