The Embassy of Israel and the Israel Agency for International Development Cooperation MASHAV have donated two equine simulators to the RCSAD for children with cerebral palsy. This specialized equipment enhances movement coordination and strengthens the child's weakened muscles. The device realistically simulates horseback riding, activating the muscles of the body, limbs, and musculoskeletal system. Cerebral palsy is the third most common condition among children (patients) at the center. This information was reported by Anhor.uz from the embassy.
The donation was made on the occasion of the opening of a training course for staff at the Tashkent center and its branches in Samarkand, Karshi, and Fergana on the topic "Working with Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders," which was chosen at the request of the RCSAD. An expert from Israel, Marina Tredler, is well acquainted with the center's work, as she previously conducted two courses directly at the Center on behalf of MASHAV and the Embassy of Israel.
In opening the course, Israeli Ambassador Gideon Lustig noted that the Center demonstrates genuine care for children and the team's dedication to their work. "This contribution exemplifies the longstanding relationship between Israel and the center, as well as the implementation of Israeli advanced know-how and technologies in the field of pediatric medicine and therapy for our partner in Uzbekistan."
The director of RCSAD, Vasiliya Alimova, expressed gratitude to Israel and the embassy for their active support and involvement in the development of the center.
Israeli methods for adapting children with disabilities have been widely applied at the RCSAD since the center's inception, providing comprehensive medical, social, psychological-pedagogical, and legal advisory assistance to children from socially vulnerable groups (children with disabilities, orphans, and children at social-legal risk).
