Uzbekistan's judicial system plans to eliminate paper documentation.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting on February 27 focused on the further improvement of the judicial system's operations, enhancing its transparency and digitalization.

To completely eliminate paper-based documentation in the judicial system, a phased transition to a fully digital format of court proceedings is planned as part of the "Digital Court" concept.

An Information Technology Center will be established in the Supreme Court, which will be responsible for developing information systems, software products, implementing artificial intelligence, and ensuring cybersecurity for judicial processes. Electronic data transfer between courts and business entities will be established, allowing for faster case processing.

The head of state emphasized the importance of integrating the information systems of the courts and all related organizations, noting that people should experience real conveniences from the reforms being implemented. In this regard, instructions were given to expand digitalization and effectively link the information databases of law enforcement agencies with the judicial system.
