An emergency headquarters has been established in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent due to a fire incident.

Following the fire in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent, an operational headquarters has been established. As a result of the incident, not only the apartment where the fire occurred was affected, but also neighboring apartments in the multi-story building.

Currently, the city and Mirzo-Ulugbek district administrations have taken measures to temporarily accommodate the residents and their families in a hotel, and they are also being provided with hot meals.

Competent authorities are continuing their work to assess the damage and address the situation.

As a result of the fire, one child has died. According to preliminary information, the cause of the incident was an attempt at suicide by one of the apartment residents. The individual intentionally turned on the gas stove, which led to a flash of the gas-air mixture and a fire. Subsequently, he jumped from the 9th-floor window and passed away.
