Today, three new modern metro trains with four cars have been delivered to the city of Tashkent. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan.
To further reduce the intervals between trains on the lines, these units will undergo technical testing for 9-10 days in accordance with established instructions, after which they will be put into service for passenger transport.
The press service noted that six more metro trains are planned to be introduced in January-February 2025. As a result of these planned efforts, the aim is to refresh the metro fleet and further decrease the fixed time intervals, the statement added.
