In Tashkent, traffic will be restricted near mosques during the holy month of Ramadan.

Restrictions are being implemented for the safety of worshippers and to regulate traffic in areas with large gatherings of people.

Starting from February 28, vehicle traffic will be restricted in the locations listed below.

Mirzo-Ulugbek District:

• Mosque Tepa, from Durmon Yuli Street to Olimlar Street.

Bektemir District:

• Mosque Alibek, from Mukhtar Auezov Street to Husayn Baykaro Street.

Yashnabad District:

• Mosque Islam ota, from the secondary road Fergana Yuli to Zarkent and Obishir Streets;

• Mosque Ali ibn Abu Talib, from Chulpon Street to Salokhiyat Street.

Mirabad District:

• Mosque Valikhodja ugli Norhodja, from the intersection of Yangikuylyuk – Faiziyobad streets to 5th passage Faiziyobad;

• Mosque Kuylik ota, from the intersection of TKAD – Kuylik ota streets to Yangikuylyuk passage.

Sergeli District:

• Mosque Maruf ota, from Choshtepa Street to 1st passage Choshtepa;

• Mosque Nugaykurghon, from the intersection of Yangisarqali – Nugaykurghon MKAD – Sagban to the intersection of Nurafshan – Sagban.

Yakkasaray District:

• Mosque Usmon bin Ma'zum, from the intersection of MKAD – Faizli Tashkent to the intersection of MKAD – Kushbegi;

• Mosque Yakkasaray, from the intersection of Shota Rustaveli – Yakkasaray to the intersection of Yakkasaray – Bogi Buston;

• Mosque Rakat, from J.Shoshiy Street to Askiya Street.

Yangihayot District:

• Mosque Niyozmat ota, from the intersection of TKAD – Binokor to the entrance of the mahalla "Pastdargan".

Shaykhontahur District:

• Mosque Shaykh Zayniddin (Kukcha), from the intersection of Kukcha Darvoza – Nurafshan to the intersection of Kukcha Darvoza – Beshkairagach;

• Mosque Kamolon, from the intersection of Bunyodkor – Kamolon to the intersection of 2nd passage Kamolon – Ustazoda.

Almalar District:

• Mosque Khasimom, from the intersection of Nurafshan – Korasaray to the intersection of Karasaray – Abdulla Qadiriy;

• Mosque Islamobod, from the intersection of MKAD – Sagban to the intersection of Nurafshan – Sagban;

• Mosque Do'stjanbay (Sulola), from the intersection of Sagban – 12th passage Sagban to the intersection of Keles Yuli – Noraztepa.

Yunusabad District:

• Mosque Mirza Yusuf (Badamzar), along Bogishamol Street to Shivli Street.

Uchtepa District:

• Mosque Abdullokh ibn Mas'ud (Katta Kani), from the roundabout Katta Kani to the intersection of Lutfi – Katta Khirmontepa;

• Mosque Hazrat Ali, from the intersection of Nazarbek – Mahorat to the intersection of Nazarbek – 1st passage Zamakhshari.

Chilanzar District:

• Mosque Novza, along the bridge from the intersection of Bunyodkor – Mukimi to the building of the Oliy Majlis;

• Mosque Shaykh Muhammad Sodik Muhammad Yusuf, from the intersection of Al-Khwarizmi – Gavkhar to Sogalli ota Street;

• Mosque Ubay ibn Ka'b (Buridjar), from Al-Khwarizmi Street to Katta Khirmontepa Street.

The movement of special vehicles in these directions is permitted.

Please note that this year the holy month of Ramadan in Uzbekistan will start on March 1.
