In Tashkent, three men in a Cobalt abducted a 20-year-old woman, prompting the initiation of a criminal case.

A video has circulated in the capital showing the abduction of a girl by three unknown individuals in a Cobalt vehicle. This incident has sparked significant public outcry.

According to data from the Tashkent Police Department, the victim, a girl named I., born in 2004, is currently under the care of psychologists and law enforcement officials.

The organizer of the abduction was a young man named A., born in 1994, who conspired with two acquaintances.

“The first abduction happened near my house. The video shows three people, with A. himself at the wheel. He didn’t want to be caught on camera. I have scars that still haven’t healed, and I suffer from frequent headaches after the blow,” the girl recounted.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under articles 137 (Kidnapping) and 138 (Illegal deprivation of liberty) of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan. All participants in the crime have been apprehended and are currently in custody.

The investigation is under the personal supervision of the head of the Tashkent Police Department. A decision will be made upon its conclusion.
