Starting today, bus drivers on routes No. 67 and No. 91 will be wearing traditional Uzbek tubeteikas, promoting national culture and customs among passengers and visitors to the capital.
As explained by "Toshshakhartranskhizmat," this initiative is part of the decision made by the mayor, Shavkat Umurzakov, who has designated every Friday as National Clothing Day.
It is worth noting that so far, only the transport sector has put the capital's leader's decree into practical effect.
