В Ташкенте выставлен на продажу рынок «Аския» за 16,8 млн долларов.

The "Askiya" market, located in the Yakkasaray district of Tashkent, is up for auction with a starting price of 214.9 billion sums (equivalent to $16.8 million). Information about the lot is published on the E-auksion portal. The bidding is scheduled for December 20 at 10:00 AM.

The property covers a total area of 1.83 hectares, of which 7439 sq.m is occupied by buildings. An assessment conducted by Real Excellent Valuation in July determined the market value of the buildings to be 9 billion sums, while the right to use the land plot was valued at 180 billion sums.

The buyer is obligated not only to maintain the market's operations but also to carry out its reconstruction, including:

  • the construction of an eco-market with an area of at least 3000 sq.m;
  • the creation of a cold storage facility of 1200 sq.m;
  • the establishment of an underground parking lot for 400 vehicles.

Upon completion of the work, the investor must transfer the eco-market, storage, and parking lot to the market shareholders free of charge. In return, they will be able to use the remaining land area (1.4 hectares) at their discretion.

All construction work must be carried out without interrupting the market's operations. After reconstruction, the agricultural market will be relocated to the territory of the new eco-market.

The investor will also need to negotiate with the property owners within the market area and provide them with compensation.
