In the Tashkent region, four unidentified individuals attacked environmental inspectors.

On January 4, in the "Samarkand" neighborhood of the Yangiyul district in Tashkent region, four unknown individuals in a "Zhiguli" car blocked the path of ecology inspectors and subsequently assaulted them. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Ecology.

The attack occurred during a raid. The head of the district ecology department and the chief specialist attempted to check the documents of the violators; however, they refused and attacked the inspectors, causing moderate bodily harm. The victims received medical assistance, and their condition is assessed as stable.

Law enforcement agencies have initiated an investigation into the attack.

For obstructing the activities of state ecology inspectors and failing to comply with their instructions, fines are imposed on citizens ranging from 5 to 10 BRV, and for officials, from 20 to 30 BRV.
