In the Tashkent region, a man was apprehended while attempting to smuggle in pneumatic weapons and ammunition.

Employees of the regional customs office intercepted the illegal import of pneumatic rifles and ammunition at the border checkpoint "Yallama," reports the agency's press service.

During the inspection of a truck entering from a neighboring country, customs officials found two Hatsan pneumatic rifles with a caliber of 4.5 mm and 500 cartridges being transported without the necessary permits.

An investigation has been initiated regarding the violation.
