In Uzbekistan, businesses will not face power disconnection due to unpaid debts.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan has signed a decree aimed at establishing fair conditions for entrepreneurs and removing barriers to business operations. The document outlines a revision of fines for irrational electricity consumption, taking into account the specifics of entrepreneurial activities. Instead of disconnecting businesses due to unpaid debts, a phased repayment option will be introduced. Additionally, entrepreneurs will have the ability to pay for electricity using corporate cards through mobile applications.
В Узбекистане предприятия не будут лишаться электроэнергии из-за задолженности.

A significant step will be the integration of the Hududgaz Corporate software with the Tax Committee system, enabling online monitoring of natural gas consumption and eliminating errors in electronic invoice issuance.

Gas users who delay payment will receive automatic notifications, and if payment is not made within one working day, gas supply will be discontinued. There are plans to implement a unified personal account system for corporate consumers, which should simplify calculations.

Relevant authorities are expected to present draft laws and amendments to the natural gas usage regulations by March 2025.
