In Tashkent, snow is expected along with intermittent fog, with nighttime temperatures ranging from -2 to -4°C and daytime temperatures between -0 and -2°C, accompanied by a western wind of 5-10 m/s.
The Tashkent Ecology Department and the district hokimiyats have urged residents of the capital to exercise caution. Residents are advised not to park their vehicles near high-rise buildings, structures, or under trees. Significant cooling and snowfall are also forecasted across the regions of the country. In Karakalpakstan and Khorezm, winds of 7-12 m/s are expected, with gusts reaching 15-20 m/s in places. Nighttime temperatures may drop to -10 to -15°C, while daytime temperatures will stay around 0 to -5°C. In the Ustyurt region, nighttime temperatures are anticipated to fall to -15 to -20°C, with daytime temperatures expected to be between -5 and -10°C. In Bukhara and Navoi regions, snowfall is possible, with wind gusts reaching 17-22 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from -2 to -7°C, while daytime temperatures will be between -0 and +5°C. In Samarkand, Jizzakh, and Syrdarya regions, intermittent snow is expected, with winds of 7-12 m/s and gusts up to 15-20 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be from -0 to -5°C, and daytime temperatures from -2°C to +3°C.
In Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya, snow is forecasted with winds of 7-12 m/s and gusts up to 17-22 m/s, with nighttime temperatures ranging from -0 to -5°C and daytime temperatures between -0 and +5°C. In the Fergana, Namangan, and Andijan regions, similar conditions are expected: intermittent snow, with nighttime and daytime temperatures around -2 to +3°C. In the foothill and mountainous areas, overcast weather is anticipated, with occasional snowfall and possible fog, with nighttime and daytime temperatures ranging from -3 to -8°C.
Residents of the country are advised to exercise caution, take into account the challenging road conditions, and plan their routes in advance.
