A new Turkish ambassador has officially begun their duties in Uzbekistan.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, received copies of the credentials from the new Ambassador of Turkey, Ufuk Ulutaş.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized the dynamic development of Uzbek-Turkish cooperation at both the bilateral level and within regional initiatives.

“Our joint efforts will contribute to the prosperity and development of both countries,” Saidov noted, expressing confidence in the further strengthening of the partnership.

The Foreign Minister also congratulated the new ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in his diplomatic activities.
