From January 27 to 31, employees of the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted a large-scale operation called "Anti-Terrorism Clean-Up" across the country.
As a result:
- 418 individuals prone to committing serious crimes were identified, with criminal cases initiated against them;
- 169 people were taken into custody;
- 42 criminal groups were dismantled;
- 109 wanted individuals were apprehended.
During the operation, 80 units of weapons, over 30 kg of drugs, and other prohibited items were seized from illegal circulation.
The operation also included preventive talks with 536 citizens. Efforts to stabilize the criminal situation will continue.
