В Военном суде стартовал процесс по делу о покушении на Алламжонова.

A trial has commenced in the Military Court regarding the attempted assassination of Komil Allamjonov, a former employee of the President of Uzbekistan's Administration.

The proceedings are entirely classified: despite the large number of defendants, the gravity of the charges, and their significance to the public, this was written by human rights activist Abdurakhmon Tashanov.

Two citizens from Chechnya, Bislan Rasaev and Shamil Temirkhanov, have been declared wanted internationally through Interpol in connection with the case involving the attempted assassination of former head of Uzbekistan's information policy department, Komil Allamjonov.

They are suspected of attempting to murder Allamjonov and Dmitry Li, the head of the National Agency for Prospective Projects (NAPP). According to the investigation, the suspects acted under the direction of clients who offered them $1.5 million for the killings.

The Prosecutor General's Office of Uzbekistan reported that seven individuals have been detained in connection with the assassination attempt.

On October 26, the prosecutor's office in Uzbekistan announced that two unidentified assailants fired upon a Range Rover in the Tashkent region of the country. Inside the vehicle was Komil Allamjonov — the former head of the information policy department of the President's Administration of Uzbekistan. Later, rumors circulated in the media regarding a supposed "Chechen trace."
