The State Audit Office has identified a significant disparity in tariffs among different consumer groups. The Ministry of National Economy has been tasked with amending the Tariff Formation Rules to gradually reduce the differences in tariffs across various consumer categories. This initiative aims to eliminate the hidden subsidization of natural monopoly entities.
As a result, a corresponding order was issued by the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of National Economy, which introduced changes and additions to the specified Rules.
Moreover, a differentiation in tariffs for heat supply services has been implemented based on the presence or absence of metering devices (either communal or individual).

“An important task remains the formation of a culture of resource conservation. Starting next year, clear consumption norms should be introduced based on the principle: the more you consume, the more you pay. At the same time, consumers must not remain defenseless in their dealings with private monopolists,” the President emphasized.
