Russian President Vladimir Putin has invited Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Moscow for the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, as reported by Bizmedia.kz.

Today, November 27, 2024, Kazakhstan will host the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. The invitation for the visit was extended by the head of state, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

In a conversation with journalists, Vladimir Putin expressed that he is looking forward to the anniversary celebrations in Moscow on May 9 of next year, where he expects President Tokayev and other friends from Kazakhstan to attend.

The Russian leader emphasized that both Kazakhstan and Russia remember with respect and gratitude the heroism of those who fought against Nazism, paying tribute to the memory of their fathers and grandfathers. He also highlighted that we must certainly do everything we can to ensure that future generations remember the sacrifices made to defend peace and freedom.
