Authorities in Tashkent have denied reports about a man's death resulting from a dog attack.

Information has emerged on social media that a stray dog fatally attacked an elderly man in Tashkent.

However, the city administration refuted these rumors, stating that the cause of death for the 59-year-old resident of the Karakamysh neighborhood 2/4 was acute cardiovascular failure.

“Contrary to the rumors being spread, there was no dog attack. We urge city residents not to panic and not to disseminate false information,” — the city administration's press service stated.
