The Shymkent Prosecutor's Office conducted an inspection of the city's water supply system. The inspection revealed significant violations.
Specifically, 1,500 residential houses in the city are not connected to a centralized water supply at all. There were also instances of infrastructure being constructed in violation of building codes and regulations, sanitary norms, and a lack of water supply.
As a result of the prosecutor's oversight, certain officials have been held administratively accountable and penalized. A comprehensive plan of necessary measures has been developed to ensure full water supply for the population.
