Yandex Uzbekistan has launched an insurance program for couriers partnering with its services.

The insurance program Yandex Uzbekistan is already operational in the Eats and Lavka services within Yandex Go, and the Delivery service will join shortly. The insurance covers couriers who are walking, driving cars, or using bicycles, scooters, mopeds, and other forms of personal mobility.

The insurance is provided free of charge to all couriers in the cities where the services are available.

It takes effect at the start of the shift and covers instances of loss of ability to work due to health issues that arise while fulfilling orders. Depending on the terms of the insurance coverage, there are various exclusions, including situations where harm was caused intentionally or while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

To receive compensation, one must provide the insurance company with the necessary information, which will carry out all required procedures for the payout. The amount of coverage can reach up to 100,000,000 soms, depending on the specific insurance case and the stipulated conditions.
