The coordinates of the earthquake are: 39.5 degrees north latitude; 71.74 degrees east longitude. The magnitude reached 5.3. The depth was 10 km. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 290 km southeast of Tashkent.

The earthquake was felt in several regions of Uzbekistan:

• 2-3 points in the Fergana region, 98 km.
• 2 points in the Andijan region, 151 km.
• 2 points in the Namangan region, 167 km.
• 2 points in Tashkent, 290 km.
