A plot of land across from Tashkent-East Airport was sold in just 10 minutes for 522 billion sums.

A plot of land in the "Alisherobod" neighborhood of the Mirzo-Ulugbek district in Tashkent was sold at auction for 522.7 billion soums, writes Kapital.uz.

The bidding lasted only 10 minutes, with the private company Valid Trading emerging as the winner after placing the sole bid that exceeded the starting price by 5%.

The land parcel, covering 25.5 hectares, is located opposite the under-construction "Tashkent-East" airport.

Plans for the area include the construction of residential buildings ranging from four to six stories, offices, hotels, as well as commercial and service facilities. The land has been leased for 49 years, and the auction winner is required to make the first payment within 15 working days, with the remaining amount due within three years.

Valid Trading, founded in 2019, specializes in wholesale trade. The company's charter capital amounts to 1.04 billion soums, and the sole founder is Waris Abduvaliev.
