The recreation area previously owned by Gulnara Karimova has been transferred to the Federation of Trade Unions.

The recreation zone "Sydzhak," located in the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region, has been transferred to the management of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan. This decision was approved by a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers adopted in March 2023.

Previously, "Sydzhak" belonged to the elder daughter of the first president of Uzbekistan, Gulnara Karimova, who is currently serving a prison sentence.

The recreation area has been attempted to be sold multiple times, but all efforts have ended in failure.

On the eve of the New Year, the daughter of the first president Islam Karimov, Gulnara Karimova, was transferred to the 42nd colony in the Zangiatan district.
