ХАМАС готов рассмотреть компромиссы с Израилем для достижения мира и прекращения огня.
Leaders of the Palestinian movement Hamas are discussing potential concessions to Israel, including the maintenance of Israeli forces' control over the Philadelphia Corridor, reports the Jerusalem Post citing sources.
According to the publication, Hamas believes that Israel is demanding complete surrender, which the group still refuses to accept. However, some leaders of the movement are contemplating possible concessions they might make if Israel shows interest in ending the war and withdrawing troops from the Gaza Strip.
Despite Hamas's insistence that Israel is demanding total capitulation, which is deemed unacceptable, some leaders within the movement are considering compromises to achieve a cessation of hostilities and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza.
Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces announced a strike on a Hezbollah rocket storage facility in southern Lebanon, even as a ceasefire was declared between the movement and the Israeli side.
