Alisher Kadirov, the leader of the "Milliy Tiklanish" party, made a proposal to establish a competitive system for teachers in schools. He presented his suggestion during a session of the Legislative Chamber, which focused on discussing the budget for 2025.
Kadirov emphasized that significant funds are allocated for education, including 50 trillion sums for teachers' salaries. However, he believes that their effectiveness needs improvement.
“We propose to implement a competitive system among teachers so that the best educators receive higher salaries, while ineffective ones leave the system. Our children deserve the best,” the politician stated.
Additionally, he suggested reevaluating the approach to funding school clubs.
“Clubs should not be limited to children from low-income families. They should become an integral part of the school system and be funded from the state budget,” Kadirov added.
He expressed confidence that an agreement on these matters could be reached during the second reading of the budget proposal.
