The "Ippodrom" market in Tashkent has had its cold water supply cut off due to outstanding debts, reports the press service of "Toshkent shahar suv taminoti."
Water supply officials are shutting down facilities with significant outstanding debts for water consumption. Among these are the "Ippodrom" market and an unfinished residential complex on Abdulla Kakhhar Street in the Yakkasarai district. The residential complex owes 40 million sums, while the market owes 220 million sums.
Previously, in Tashkent, the electricity was disconnected at the Kadychev market due to debts. The market owed 500 million sums, and after the disconnection, the consumer paid 400 million sums, resulting in the restoration of electricity to the market.
