Nurmuratov has resigned from his position as the chairman of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.

The Telegram channel Platforma.uz reported that the chairman of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, Mamariyzo Nurmuratov, has resigned.

Among the new candidates for the position of chairman of the Central Bank are Timur Ishmetov and Erkinjon Turdimov.

There is currently no official confirmation of this information. The reason for Nurmuratov's resignation has also not been specified.

Mamariyzo Nurmuratov has held the position of chairman of the board of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan since June 6, 2017.
