On December 14, Tashkent will host the Eco Dunyo festival, dedicated to animal protection and ecology. The event will bring together those interested in sustainable ecological solutions and caring for nature.
Various activities are planned as part of the festival. Guests will have the opportunity to visit an exhibition of eco-friendly products, sample plant-based food, learn more about nature conservation through lectures by experts, and participate in a swap of items. Additionally, there will be art installations, live music performances, and workshops.
Experts will discuss important aspects of eco-friendly living and animal protection. For instance, a nutritionist will explain how to maintain health through a sustainable diet, a mountain guide will share tips on minimizing ecological footprints during hikes, and a biodiversity specialist will talk about bats. Furthermore, the philosophy of effective altruism, climate change issues, and laws protecting animals will also be on the agenda.
The festival will also provide an opportunity to get to know volunteer organizations better, such as the animal shelter "Mehr" and the Zarafshan National Nature Park. Guests will be able to join animal protection and ecological projects.
The Eco Dunyo festival will serve as a platform for exchanging knowledge and ideas, as well as for promoting eco-friendly and animal protection initiatives. The event aims to raise awareness about pressing environmental issues and create conditions for their resolution.
The festival will take place on December 14 at the Humo Arena Ice Palace. It will start at 12:00 PM. Admission is free for everyone.
