The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has arrived in the Russian Federation for a working visit. This is reported by the press service of the head of state.
At Pulkovo International Airport, the esteemed guest was welcomed by the Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov, along with other officials.
Upon arrival, the head of state took a walk around St. Isaac's Square accompanied by the governor.
As part of his visit to St. Petersburg on December 25-26, Mirziyoyev will participate in an informal meeting of the heads of CIS states and the upcoming meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in an observer status.
