Uzbekistan and Russia have agreed on a format for regular meetings to discuss the regulation of migration flows, as reported by the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry.
The Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan, Olimjon Abdullaev, and the Russian Ambassador, Oleg Malginov, discussed measures for managing external labor migration, as well as issues concerning the protection of the rights of Uzbek citizens abroad.
Starting December 1, a biometric control system will be implemented at the Moscow aviation hub as part of an experiment for all foreign nationals entering and exiting Russia.
