In Fergana, the gas station where the explosion occurred is being demolished, reports the press service of the regional emergency management agency.

According to the information, the gas station is being torn down at the request of the director, and it will not operate in the future. The emergency management agency stated that the primary task now is to protect the population and surrounding areas from emergencies. Additionally, they aim to prevent the occurrence of similar incidents in the future.

The incident happened on December 17 at around 13:43 at the gas station on Ahmad Yassavi Street due to a violation of the technological process during the discharge of liquefied gas and disregard for safety regulations. Five individuals were detained.

Furthermore, following this explosion, inspections of all gas stations in the Fergana region have commenced.
