In the Kashkadarya region, a man fatally beat the drunken husband of his sister, reports the press service of the Supreme Court via their Telegram channel.

The incident occurred on May 26, 2024, when the woman complained to her brother that her husband had been coming home drunk and causing disturbances for many years. The man became angry and went to his sister's house when she and her two children were not present.

The man knocked on the door, but no one answered. He then climbed over the wall and entered the house. In one of the rooms, he found his sister's drunken husband, began to argue with him, and started beating him. The man then took him outside and continued to strike him, resulting in the victim's death on the spot.

At that time, the woman was staying with a relative along with her two children. When she asked her brother where her husband was, he replied that he didn't know. The body was discovered by the chairman of the mahalla a week after the incident.

The defendant was found guilty under paragraph "g" of part 1 of criminal article 97 (Intentional murder with particular cruelty). He was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
