A new hokim has been appointed in the Peshkun district of the Bukhara region.

Vakhob Kakhhorov has been relieved of his duties as the head of the Peshkun District. The district administration is now led by Khayot Davlatov, who previously served as the head of Kagan since 2021.

An extraordinary session of the People's Deputies of the Peshkun District Kengash took place in the Bukhara region.

During the meeting, the regional hokim Botir Zaripov delivered a critical and analytical speech. The head of the region highlighted that significant changes have occurred in addressing the pressing issues of the Peshkun district in recent years, elevating the reforms implemented in the social and economic sectors to a new level.

“However, an analysis of recent years indicates that the current pace of development in the district is lagging significantly behind the demands of our president and the needs of the hardworking people of Peshkun,” said Botir Zaripov.

The meeting addressed an organizational matter. The regional hokim read out the decision to relieve Vakhob Kakhhorov from his position as the hokim of the Peshkun district. This issue was put to a vote and approved by the deputies.

Following this, Botir Zaripov announced the decision of the regional hokim to appoint Hayot Davlatov, who has served as the hokim of Kagan since 2021, as the hokim of the Peshkun district.

Deputies and activists of Kengash expressed their opinions on the agenda item. Hayot Davlatov was confirmed as the hokim of the Peshkun district.
