A 19-year-old Uzbek worker tragically lost his life on a construction site in Russia.

On November 2 in Russia, a 19-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan died after falling from the sixth floor at a construction site, reports the Russian portal "Fontanka."

The incident occurred in the morning on Tulip Street in the village of Yanino-1. The young man from Uzbekistan arrived in Russia for work in February 2024, officially employed as a bricklayer in the Leningrad region, holding a work patent and registered with the migration authorities.

According to preliminary information, the fall was due to negligence. The young man was found dead near the building. The injuries were incompatible with life, and the medical personnel who arrived pronounced him dead.

Currently, the question of initiating a criminal case is being considered.
