In Tashkent, a factory illegally siphoned off electricity worth 27 billion sums.

In Tashkent, at the metal processing plant owned by LLC "K. Y. A.", the fact of illegal electricity usage has been uncovered.

According to the Uzbekistan Energy Inspection, in collaboration with the State Security Service, the Prosecutor General's Office, and law enforcement agencies, the plant's employees tampered with the electric meter, allowing them to evade payment for their actual energy consumption.

Preliminary calculations revealed that the damage amounted to 26 billion 945 million sums. All materials related to this case have been handed over to law enforcement agencies for further investigation.
