Uzbekistan has reduced fees for issuing certain license plates.

In Uzbekistan, changes have been introduced regarding the fees for issuing state registration number plates (GRNZ) for motor vehicles, as well as for replacing damaged or lost plates.

According to the new regulations, the following rates have been reduced:

• issuance of GRNZ for motorcycles, electric motorcycles, mopeds, scooters, and trailers — from 1.75 to 1.5 BRV;
• replacement of damaged or spoiled plates — from 1.75 to 1.5 BRV;
• issuance of plates to replace lost ones for motor vehicles and trailers — from 1.75 to 1.5 BRV.

The fee for the registration of electric vehicles and motorcycles is now 1.5 BRV, while for other vehicles it is 6.84 BRV. Re-registration of vehicles will cost 10% of the BRV.

Additionally, the following fees have been completely abolished:

• for issuing duplicates of registration certificates for damaged or stolen vehicles (previously 70% of BRV);
• for issuing a duplicate for a lost vehicle (previously 1 BRV);
• for a temporary registration certificate for a lost vehicle (previously 5 BRV).
