New schools and kindergartens. The President was briefed on plans for advancing the education sector in Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, over 100 schools are set to be established in Uzbekistan next year, creating 257,000 student places. Additionally, state educational programs will be aligned with international standards. This information was reported today by the Minister of Preschool and School Education to the President.

It was also noted that the number of schools offering a second foreign language will be increased to 420, while vocational training will reach 400.

In particular, this year, a new assessment system has been implemented in 1,500 general education schools. Based on the analysis results, it is planned to expand this system to more schools next year.

A digital system has been introduced for assigning qualification categories to teachers. Now, educators who successfully upgrade their category will receive an additional payment of up to 70% of their salary, depending on the points they have earned.

Starting next year, the training programs in regional centers for professional development will be revised. A differentiated system for professional development will be applied for each teacher. Those who do not pass the qualification tests will undergo additional training under a separate program. Five centers for modern pedagogical excellence will begin operations in the regions. All centers will be equipped with technology for situational training and virtual laboratories.

To attract qualified leaders to educational organizations and support their activities, it has been proposed to establish financial incentives for school and kindergarten directors, as well as their deputies, from additional sources.

Before the start of the next academic year, new textbooks for primary pre-conscription training for students will be prepared, and teachers with a high level of professionalism will be recruited. Educators in this field will be assigned military ranks.

In collaboration with the Ministry of Defense, "Schools of Courage" will be established in 208 educational institutions, where adolescents with behavioral difficulties will also be engaged.

Starting in 2025, the position of deputy director will be introduced in kindergartens. New formats for professional development will also be implemented, including "Hour of Methodical Mastery" and "Day of Methodical Mastery."

Next year, it is planned to build 162 preschool educational institutions, open 100 private kindergartens, and establish 1,000 family kindergartens. This will increase preschool education coverage to 78%.
