The offensive comments were directed at Kaniza's professional activities. A young man, relying on his religious beliefs, referred to the artist as a "dirty woman." In court, the singer stated that she has no intention of forgiving the insults, as "the more she forgives, the more such incidents occur."
"Believe me, I never wanted it to come to this. The very idea of suing a fellow countryman, my own people, is extremely saddening for me. We live in a democratic state. If our legislation prohibited dressing modernly or dancing, there would be no artists in our country," Kaniza said.
The court found the young man guilty of committing an administrative offense as per Article 41 (Insult). He was fined 20 BWR (6.8 million sums).
Let us remind you, this is already the second court case that Kaniza has won against her hater. In July of last year, a court fined a student 6.6 million sums for insulting the artist on her social media.
