Meteorologists note that an analysis of long-term observation data indicates that December, similar to November, is significantly less affected by global warming compared to other months.
During the first decade of the month, the temperature regime across Uzbekistan will be close to the long-term average values.
The prevailing air temperature is expected to be between 3 degrees below zero and 2 degrees above zero at night, and from 3 to 8 degrees above zero during the day, reaching up to 10 degrees in some areas. In the northern regions of the republic, nighttime temperatures will range from 3 to 8 degrees below zero, while daytime temperatures will be between 2 to 7 degrees above zero.
On December 1, there will be precipitation in some areas of the republic: rain, with possible transitions to snow in certain regions. Light snow is expected only in a few mountainous areas on December 2.
Following this, dry weather will dominate across Uzbekistan until almost the end of the first decade (December 3-8). Only on December 9-10, some areas may experience precipitation.
In the second and third decades of December, temperature fluctuations are anticipated: at night, temperatures will range from 0-5 degrees below zero to 2-7 degrees above zero, while during the day, temperatures will vary from 3-8 degrees above zero to 10-15 degrees above zero. By the end of the month, nighttime temperatures may drop to 5-10 degrees below zero, and daytime temperatures to 0-5 degrees below zero.
In the northern regions, nighttime temperature fluctuations will range from 8-13 degrees below zero, with some areas experiencing temperatures between 15-17 degrees below zero, up to 3 degrees below zero to 2 degrees above zero, and during the day, from 2 degrees below zero to 3 degrees above zero, reaching up to 3-8 degrees above zero.
It is worth noting that this coming weekend, residents of Uzbekistan can expect rainy and cold weather.
