How many days will the people of Uzbekistan have off in December for the holidays?

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – Podrobno.uz. On Constitution Day, employees in Uzbekistan who work a five-day week will enjoy a three-day break. This is due to December 8 falling on a Sunday this year, which is a regular day off. Additionally, Monday, December 9, will be a public holiday.

This is stipulated by the presidential decree.

On the occasion of the New Year next month, the days off will also include December 30 and 31, which fall on a Monday and Tuesday. Employees with a five-day workweek will need to make up for the day off on the 30th in advance, on Saturday, December 14.

January 1, 2025, will be a public holiday. The duration of the New Year holidays will be announced after the issuance of a new presidential decree regarding days off. Therefore, for now, we can talk about three consecutive days of rest.

It should be noted that the document establishing additional days off and their transfers aims to promote the development of domestic tourism. This does not apply to employees in continuous production, daily public services, or shift workers.
