Citizens are urged to increase vigilance and adhere to safety regulations at airports, train stations, bus terminals, subways, and other forms of public transportation.
"Fellow citizens planning to leave Turkey are advised to arrive at airports at least one hour before check-in begins and to report any suspicious items or individuals to the nearest police station or security service," the diplomatic representation stated.
It is worth noting that on October 23, explosions and gunfire occurred at the headquarters of the Turkish aerospace company Tusaş in Ankara. The Turkish Ministry of Interior classified the incident as a terrorist act. An orange alert level has been declared at all airports across the country.
