A bookstore, luggage storage, and a terrace café will be opening at Tashkent Airport.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, Tashkent Airport will soon feature a bookstore, luggage storage, and a café on the terrace. These plans were announced by Uzbekistan Airports.

The company has posted several lots for the rental of space in the departure and arrival terminals, as well as in the square in front of the capital's airport, on the electronic platform E-auksion. The auction will take place on January 6, 2025.

In the departure hall of the domestic airlines terminal, a space of 20 square meters is up for auction for a bookstore.

In the departure hall of the international airlines terminal, a space of 8 square meters is being auctioned for the establishment of an automated luggage storage service. Additionally, there are plans to set up a café with a view of the city in an area of 50 square meters.

Among other lots:

space in the arrival hall of international airlines for setting up a sales counter for local mobile operators' SIM cards;
a location in the square for the installation of ATMs and two food service points in a Food-Track format;
areas on the main airport territory with access to the apron, including two rooms for airline offices.

Requirements for tenants and starting prices are available for all interested parties under the lot on the E-auksion website. According to auction rules, initial annual amounts may increase by at least 10% during the bidding process.
