Uzbekistan, Tashkent – AN Podrobno.uz. A video has circulated on social media capturing a confrontation between traffic police inspectors and citizens. However, the Tashkent Department of Internal Affairs clarified that this video has been misinterpreted.

The department reported that the incident occurred after a traffic accident when a verbal altercation broke out between the drivers. At that moment, traffic inspectors passing by during a night patrol stopped to restore order and asked the participants in the road incident to cease the conflict.
The Main Internal Affairs Directorate indicated that the situation was inaccurately portrayed on social media as a conflict between the officers and civilians.
An investigation is currently underway regarding the incident.
