Uzbekistan schools will introduce competitions and Olympiads in esports, drone usage, and robotics.

Uzbekistan, Tashkent – According to AN Podrobno.uz, schools in Uzbekistan will begin hosting Olympiads and military-sport competitions focused on esports, drone usage, robotics, and other future-oriented games, as reported by a correspondent from Podrobno.uz.
В узбекских школах стартуют олимпиады и конкурсы по киберспорту, дрон-технологиям и робототехнике.

This is outlined in the presidential decree dated November 15.

According to the document, starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, a new teaching system for the subject "Initial Pre-Military Training" (IPMT) will be introduced in schools across the country.

To facilitate this, updated curricula and textbooks will be developed. The IPMT subject will be taught for two hours each week. Additionally, from June 1, 2025, educational institutions will establish the position of IPMT coordinator.

Furthermore, schools will host "meetings of three generations" featuring prominent figures from science and culture, while military personnel will conduct motivational talks and workshops for students.

It is worth noting that from the new academic year, military-patriotic classes will be opened in all schools in Uzbekistan. Previously, such classes were only organized in 56 schools throughout the republic.
